I am the "Jen" behind Jenuine Creations, LLC. My oldest daughter, Nicole and I work together on weddings for Jenuine Creations, LLC adventures. I began "doing" photography in college and when there was NO such thing as digital. I loved the darkroom and playing with light on images as they would appear in the chemicals before your eyes. I began Jenuine Creations, LLC as a different extension of my "artsy" side over 30 years ago. With a move from Southern California, the land of my family and birth, to West Michigan in the late 80's, I traded Jenuine Creations and formal photography for three little girls and a new chapter in my life.
It wasn't until about 12 years ago that I picked up a digital camera, for anything other than family snapshots, and rediscovered not only my love of photography, but my love of capturing moments, expression and the Life of people around me. Having been a video producer for 6 years, I know "what can go wrong, will go wrong" and for that reason, I waited to begin shooting Weddings until after Nicole graduated from college. It is always better to have two professionals working a Wedding for EVERY aspect of detail, continuity and expression of each and every Wedding day. We love those intimate moments when we can be the proverbial "fly on the wall" and capture moments that you had no idea we even saw. We consider it a GREAT honor and privilege to be a chosen part of your Wedding day.
I am a Certified Professional Photographer through Professional Photographers of America.
